Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technicians
Cambridge Scientific is seeking several Manufacturing Technicians to work on-site for with a growing biotechnology client in the Columbia, MD area!
Positions have a strong chance of going permanent with the client! Excellent compensation and full benefits (even during temporary assignment) available!
Positions do require shift work; must be flexible!
Manufacturing Technicians will be responsible for hands-on execution of all activities in the manufacturing area, which encompasses the processing of human donor tissue for transplant for the manufacturing of a novel marketed adult stem cell therapeutic product.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Follow SOPs and BPRs in processing debridement of bone samples; cutting and milling bone samples, antibiotic treatment of bone samples, demineralization of bone samples, filling and packaging of final product.
-Follow SOPs and BPRs to manufacture product in accordance with GTP. Records all pertinent operations in production records, logbooks, and controlled documents.
-Orders, receives, and distributes supplies within the production area.
-Cleans and maintains class 100 through class 10,000 production environments.
-Assist in the preparation of reports and GTP documentation as they apply to the scope of operations of the manufacturing facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Experience working in a biological laboratory environment required.
-Familiarity with aseptic techniques, standard laboratory practices & GMP required.
-Clean room experience preferred.
-Ability to carry our general mathematical calculations.
-Ability to concisely follow directions and document process performed.
-Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
-Good oral and written communications.
-Must work in a clean room environment wearing special garments.
-Requires immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area.
-Must be able work shifts. Overtime may be required at times.
PREFERRED:
-Knowledge of current Good Tissue Practices (GTP) guidelines.
-Familiarity with processing human donor tissue for transplant.
