Payroll Manager

Location:Schaumburg area

Target Salary:  $80,000 - $90,000
Bonus:  10%
Reports To:  VP, Finance and Treasurer
Has two direct reports

This client company is a great healthcare/pharma type company that is growing rapidly and in need of a Payroll Manager to run all their payroll operations for the entire U.S. and the Caribbean.  Company has great benefits, strong work environment and culture and tremendous growth potential.

 

Basic Job Description

Manages all the day to day operations for the company’s payroll dept.  Ensures that it is both accurate and timely.  Responsible for all U.S. payroll activities and Puerto Rico with coordination with HR and accounting depts..  Maintain payroll system – currently ADP PC/PW and moving to ADP Enterprise. Also assist with 401k review/audit.  Participate in new system design, enhancements and implementation. 



Position requirements

Ideally, Bachelors in accounting or business. (Strong payroll experience can offset the lack of a degree)

Min of 5-7+ years in similar position

Excellent knowledge of payroll related processes and regulations

Experience working in a publicly traded company is strongly preferred

High degree of initiative and proficient with MS Office and ideally ADP. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
