Location: Tarrytown, NY 10591 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Pay Rate: 22.00 - 25.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 1001134884 Our cleint in tarrytown NY is looking for a Payroll resource to join their team.  6 month assignment with possible 6 month renwal.Pay rate 22.00 to 25.00 per hourPlease send resumes to nicolebellina@technisource.com  This resource will support three areas of Human Resources including Payroll, Compensation and Benefits. Initially the position will be heavily involved in the payroll function. Payroll Functions: Analyzes, prepares, and inputs all payroll data using Ceridian’s HR/PW system.  Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for management.  Supervises all payroll processing and related activities.  Solves problems concerning payroll, answers inquiries, and enforces payroll policies.  Supervises and reviews the preparations of all payroll statements and reports. Compensation Functions:  Assist with spreadsheet maintenance and development. Perform audit of merit, promotion, adjustment, bonus, and stock options information. Prepare file for upload from Excel into Ceridian. Prepare mail merge of year-end employee communications.Benefits Functions:  Responsible for handling claims issues, benefit records and file maintenance  Responsible for auditing of insurance carrier invoice audits  Assists employees with benefit changes (adding/removing dependents) Responsible for daily administration of 401k Plan and new enrollments Assist with the collection of data in all Benefit areas and mailings to employees Skills & Experience:  Related work experience in payroll  Three (2) years experience related to personnel/payroll automated systems; Ceridian experience very helpful  Query experience  Computer proficiency:  Word and Excel  Attention to detail  Problem analysis and problem resolution  Excellent interpersonal skills and communication Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of advanced features necessary (mail merge, query, lookups, validations, and formulas).     Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
