Packaging Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:Direct and coordinate the activities of packaging employees to maximize efficiency on the packaging lines to achieve daily packaging standards.  PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Directing packaging operators in a fast-paced team environment 2. Effectively communicating (written and verbal) with all levels of plant personnel 3. Troubleshooting/problem solving production issues and equipment 4. Reinforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and adherence to SOPs, Batch Records, Safety Procedures, etc 5. Initiate and manage process corrective investigations and material deviation reports 6. Monitor and report productive and non-productive time in the packaging department POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required) Experience:1-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, or quality assurance environment  Experience in a Union environment is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
