Lannett Company, Inc. is a rapidly-growing leader in the manufacture of generic pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a highly talented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Packaging Mechanic in our Maintenance Department.

 

The Packaging Mechanic will be responsible to operate an array of packaging machines designed to fill, cap, label and seal bottles.

 

Responsibilities Include:Perform and document preventative maintenance on machinery according to appropriate SOP standards Observe and maintain operation of machines to maximize efficiency and to minimize downtimeDisassemble and reassemble change parts of machinery associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products according to scheduling needsSet-up and start machines to verify conformance to specifications.Assist in the effective operations of the packaging department when neededWork overtime as needed

 

The successful candidate should be able to independently set-up machines and packaging lines. Prior pharmaceutical experience is preferred. Should be familiar with the following equipment: Lakso Slat Filler, Swiftpacktablet counter, King Counter, Kalish Bottle Sorter, Kaps-All Bottle Unscrambler, Lakso Cottoner, Pharmafill Cottoner, Kalish Capper, Capmatic Capper, Mgs Topserter, Pillar Foiler, Kalish Labeler, Capmatic Labeler Beseler Shrink Tunnel, Kalish Conveyor or equivalent. Must be able to pass company paid background check.
