PRINCIPAL HSE ENGINEER

1.Provide overall HSE support and consultation to various buildings and/or process owners based on customer expectations.2.Lead PSM/RMP compliance program implementation and external/internal auditing efforts.3.Lead and manage facility Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs.4.Lead or coordinate HSE incident investigations.5.Develop and delivers HSE technical trainings (PSM, Incident Investigation, Static Electricity, Chemicals Reactivity, HSE guidelines and best practices, Risk Assessment tool).6.Lead or support critical OSHA and EPA regulatory inspections and investigations.7.Lead HSE reviews on new capital projects.8.Provide technical support in MOC reviews to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.9.Provide technical support at site level for development of HSE guidelines and best practices.10.Analyze and provide solutions to technical problems; consider alternative options including developing short term and long range plan strategies.11.Revise HSE procedures and training programs as necessary.Requirements: BS in Engineering, Industrial Safety or technical related fieldMinimum 10 years experience in HSE. Experience in the pharmaceuticals/bulk chemical industry. Certification as a Safety professional (CSP). Process safety management experience is preferred. Solid past performance as an HSE contributor. Extensive PSM&RMP knowledge and experience. Knowledge on Hazardous Work permits procedure.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrate high level of technical competency. Poses a high level of proficiency in HSE competencies including risk assessment, health and safety management system and management of change. Technical knowledge on hazardous waste management and air pollution. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in MSOffice. Basic understanding of key chemical reactions. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, cGMP and state regulations.
