Package Development Department for Pharmaceutical & Consumer Products;

Montgomery County, PA

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

 

The engineer must have a BS/MS in Packaging and 3 - 10+ years of package development experience, with a major pharmaceutical or consumer products company.  Heavy emphasis will be placed on one’s leadership ability, to manage complex projects and deliver innovative packaging solutions within the appropriate timelines. Project Management experience and strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills are required.  Positions will require approximately 30% travel, in order to interact with suppliers, plants, and other R&D facilities. Knowledge of FDA regulations is required.

 

POSITION:

 

We are seeking several package development engineers to join our North-East, US-Regional Packaging department, which supports the package development and engineering functions of several major food, pharmaceutical, and consumer products companies in NJ, NY, PA, CT and the surrounding areas.

 

We have several open positions in the packaging department of one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, dedicated to helping people around the world live better.  You will manage multiple projects as the key part of a team that supports various products, which may include OTC and/or Rx drugs.

 

Engineer’s main responsibility is to provide the technical expertise in the areas of design, development, testing, and production scale-up of new packaging components and systems. The packaging engineer will also lead packaging projects related to brand maintenance or expansion, cost savings initiatives, and innovative package development.
