Oncology Scientist

We are looking for a Scientist to join Merrimack’s innovative oncology therapeutic group, an interdisciplinary team merging the talents of experimental and computational scientists. The group is focused on developing novel oncology therapeutics by applying principles of mathematical modeling, systems biology, and protein engineering to rigorous biological data. You will apply your expertise in cell biology and oncology to the design and implementation of various cell-based assays that will lead to the selection of lead therapeutic compounds.

Job Requirements:


Candidates should have a PhD in cell or molecular biology (or related discipline) with at least 3-4 years of industry experience in oncology therapeutic development with management skills as well. Essential skills include familiarity with antibody development programs with hands on expertise in various bioassays such as Elisa, Luminex proliferation/apoptosis studies and FACS. Some familiarity with antibody structure and design is also highly desired. We value strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work within a fast-moving team, enthusiasm for science, and a flexible, entrepreneurial spirit.Job Code : 73 Division/Department : Merrimack Travel Required : None
