The incumbent is responsible for strategicoversight and development of the Special Use Program. The position reportsto the RELM Staff Officer and has four primary responsibilities: (1)Coordinates with the RELM Staff Officer and the Recreation Program Managerin the planning, coordination, and development of the H-T Recreation andLands program, specifically special uses; (2) takes the lead in developingforest polices, procedures, and provides field units with technicalassistance and training; (3) acts as the Special Use Team Leader providingexternal coordination and overall development of the forest special useprogram; and (4) provides coordination between the Forest and the RegionalOffice Lands group.
