Come join our team to deliver the scientific evidence helping products succeed in the real world and saving millions of lives because Evidence Matters Position Title: Multimedia Developer Reports To: Managing Producer Position Overview: The Multimedia Developer is responsible for creation of all multimedia deliverables including videos, CDs, and DVDs. The multimedia developer works closely with a clinical specialist to ensure all content is both aesthetically and clinically appropriate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. · Creates, edits and produces all multimedia deliverables which include training and education videos, CD-ROMS, DVDs and other projects by working closely with clinical experts and project managers. · Ensures all applicable materials and technologies are in place for successful product development through coordination with project managers and clinical teams. · Creates high-quality English subtitle files for videos. · Maintains effective communications with project teams on a regular basis · Ensures project deliverables are of high quality and exceed client’s expectations through general review and QC.
Job Requirements:
Three (3) years professional experience in addition to: · Demonstrable knowledge of, and hands-on experience with, non-linear editing systems and post-production processing. Experience with DVCAM, Final Cut Pro, or other NLE environments required. · Experience with rich media content development, DVD production using DVD Studio Pro, and CD-ROM production using Adobe Flash, Cleaner, Fireworks, and Toast, or similar products. · Adept in video production including experience with DVCAM cameras (such as the DSR570), lighting, sound recording, and production management. · Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. · Strong verbal and written communication skills with particular emphasis on grammar, style, spelling, and usage. · Ability to manage own time, proactively identify what needs to get done and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, small-team environment. · Affinity for computer and video technology, and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems. · Understanding of video production and delivery for international clients, including foreign standards (NTSC, PAL, SECAM), and distribution media (tape formats, DVD). · Pharmaceutical industry knowledge, clinical study and/or sales and marketing experience, and training and/or education background valued.
