Molecular Biologist

We are looking for a talented Molecular Biologist to join our group and contribute to its future.  As a member of our scientific team, you will develop and validate cross application and cross product workflows, as well as test and validate new or existing Genomics products and technologies. As such, you will be part of a global development team that will work closely with other Scientists and R&D Engineers.

Job Qualifications:

Essential skills

1. Masters degree (with 5 years of post-graduate experience) or Ph.D. desired, but not required, (with 2 years of experience) in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Genetics or a related Life Sciences field.

2. Extensive laboratory experience with various Genomics platforms and techniques such as microarrays, QRT-PCR, and DNA sequencing.

3. Experience in the development of microarray- and QPCR-based applications to address biological questions in the Gene Expression and  miRNA spaces.

4. Strong problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.

5. Broad understanding of Life Sciences research, Molecular Biology, and the latest research developments in Genomics and related Bioinformatics tools and techniques.

6. Knowledge of intellectual property and industry experience.

7. Excellent communication skills, along with being a team player.
