Micro Systems Engineering, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BIOTRONIK Gmbh., Inc. now has an exciting opportunity available for a Module Development Team Leader in beautiful Portland Oregon. Relocation assistance will be provided.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leader of multi-disciplined engineering teams to design and introduce HDI products to production utilizing flip chip and SMT leading edge microelectronic packaging technologies.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include team leadership, project management, and technical contributor.  Provide project leadership to team representatives from multiple disciplines including: circuit design, layout, test engineering, process engineering, component engineering and material procurement.  Identify and communicate the project deliverables.  Work with Line Management to secure the resources to meet the project performance, cost, and schedule goals.  Make, delegate, and/or facilitate technical decisions that directly impact the end product performance.  Lead and/or participate in technical reviews at each development phase.  Develop and execute mitigation plans for technical set backs.

REQUIREMENTS:BS or MS degree with 5 years electrical engineering experience in the areas of circuit design, PCB layout, rapid prototyping, product verification testing, or test development.Demonstrated people leadership skills.Demonstrated project management skills.Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company.Ability to make and/or facilitate engineering decisions involving EE, ME, component technology, and manufacturability.



TRAVEL:Less than 5%.  Travel will include trips to other company sites within and outside the United States as necessary to meet project goals.
