LifeScan, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with diabetes by developing, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of glucose monitoring systems and software for use by people with diabetes and by health care providers. The ONETOUCH® Brand of consumer and institutional products includes portable electronic meters and disposable reagent test strips to provide accurate, less painful glucose readings and the software tools to transform this information into actionable health care decisions. LifeScan's business model is very similar to the pharmaceutical model. Our goal is to provide value to the healthcare professional by providing clinical insight, to demonstrate the superior features and benefits of their products as compared to the competition, and to gain the healthcare professional's commitment to recommend and prescribe LifeScan products. LifeScan Regional Business Managers exist to provide leadership and direction to our field sales force in order to support our corporate goals and to ensure achievement of LifeScan's short and long term sales objectives. The RBM is responsible for providing the leadership, motivation and support necessary to assist each Professional Sales Specialist in the development and execution of their business and professional goals. The RBM will also be responsible for the development and implementation of a regional business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve sales goals, along with integrating sales activities with Consumer Sales and Strategic Accounts within each territory and region. Additional responsibilities include participation in sales manager meetings, as well as plan and conduct regional, area and national sales meetings and professional meetings (i.e.: ADA&&AADE). Minimum of 5-7 years in LifeScan/J&&J Professional Sales, and/or a minimum of 5-7 years of comparable industry (Regional Sales Management experience preferred). Prior sales results in all product categories with a track record of success. Prior pharmaceutical/medical sales experience strongly preferred. Must have valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States and a clean driving record. Must have the ability to travel as necessary which may include overnight and/or weekends.
