Microbiology, Technical Specialist
NAMSA, a leading medical device contract testing lab is expanding and has several job openings in their Irvine facility:
Microbiology, Technical Sales – Seeking Full-Time (M-F) 8am – 5pm shift, Individual will respond to client inquiries related to microbiology testing and process validations. Will advise and assist clients in development of testing programs, prepare price quotations, and work with lab personnel to smoothly transition projects from the proposal stage to laboratory initiation. Will assist in technical review of incoming laboratory samples. Position involves some in-house public speaking and training of personnel in microbiological topics. Requires excellent oral and written communication capabilities and strong interpersonal skills. Individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Preferred candidate will hold a Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology or Biological Sciences, be familiar with USP, AAMI and/or ISO requirements for medical device and pharmaceutical testing and possess a minimum of 4 years related work experience.
