Forest offers competitive salaries, progressive benefits programs and a supportive work environment that thrives on teamwork.  The following position is available in our growing Pharmaceutical Research & Development Division in Long Island, NY: Metrology Specialist (Mass Spectrometer Engineer)Research & Development Job  ID #86262 Commack, NY  Description of Duties and Responsibilities:· Maintaining, servicing and qualifying/calibrating Mass Spectrometer equipment (specifically Applied BioSystem/SciEx Mass Spec)· Manage calibration schedule and coordinate yearly instrument due date schedule Requirements:· BS/MS in a scientific discipline (Analytical Chemistry preferred) with 2-6 years relevant experience.· Certified Applied BioSystems/SciEx Mass Spec Engineer· Candidate should have numerous years of Mass Spec experience in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and qualification.· Specific experience in utilizing the Analyst Data Acquisition system as well as HPLC instruments.· Understanding of laboratory GxP requirements, SOP's and instrument qualification protocols.· Strong communication and writing skills.  Forest offers generous compensation packages, comprehensive training programs, stock options and profit sharing, progressive benefits and a diverse and dynamic workplace.  Please note as your source in the text of your resume
