The responsibility Neuro/Implant Specialist is to achieve sales objectives established for Codman's implants, new/differentiated products and Neuro Base products as directed by sales management. The Neuro/Implant Specialist will directly sell all Codman products to neurosurgeons, nurses and other health professionals in the hospital departments of surgery, ICU, NICU and materials management as well as other departments. The Neuro/Implant Specialist will meet yearly goals and plans by preparing a territory sales plan specifying specific objectives, target accounts, key clinicians, product promotions, and other issues central to achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly goals/objectives. This will include increasing sales and market share through the proper management of strategic alliances, programs/services, national account contracts and other partnerships. In this role, the Neuro/Implant Specialist will actively participate as a member in sales team consisting of other specialists including but not limited to Instrument Specialists, Alliance partners, Distributors, InServe Specialists and others. Surgical Instrumentation sales experience strongly preferred. National Account management preferred. Inventory and Information System experience preferred. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States paired with a clean driving record is mandatory. Candidates must possess good written and oral communication skills. The ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnights and/or weekends is required.
