Medication Safety Officer - Pharmacist
GLC Associates has an exciting new opportunity for a Medication Safety Officer in the Boston metro area. This position is part of the department's strategic plan to improve the safety of our patients and demonstrates our continued commitment to this goal.
Requirements
• Current Massachusettes license as a Pharmacist
• ASHP accredited residency preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of current standards and regulations disseminated by JCAHO, Massachusettes Board of Pharmacy, FDA and ASHP
• Knowledge of general principles of medication use safety, system theory, culture of safety, medication error reporting systems, human factors, performance improvement, and risk management
