Medical/Pharmaceutical District Sales Manager

Our client is the Professional Products division of a Fortune 500 Healthcare products manufacturer and the leader in the their segment of the industry. They have asked us to locate a new District Sales Manager to direct the efforts of 8-10 sales representatives who sell a full line of patient treatment products to Doctors' offices and medical products distributors. Ideally based in Houston, this district covers parts of Texas and nearby parts of Louisiana and Oklahoma, and will require some overnight travel. This is a well established region which has a large account base with which our client has already developed strong client relationships and rapport. The candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and 3+ years of proven sales management in either Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical or Business-to-Business sales in an environment that is high-activity driven, with a documented track record of success as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Experience working with distributors a big plus.This individual must also be motivated, aggressive, and have the ability to be a leader and direct a team through sales coaching and teaching. The successful candidate can expect to earn $122-135K or more based on a starting salary of $90-100K plus commission which will add $35K per year at plan, but could be even higher based on personal performance.
