MEDICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST

Our client is a company that wants to discover, develop and successfully market innovative products to prevent and cure diseases, to ease suffering and to enhance the quality of life and is seeking a Medical Information Specialist for their East Hanover, New Jersey location.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate information flow from internal and external sources to facilitate the dissemination of accurate, timely, consistent, and balanced information to internal and external customers including external healthcare professionals, internal personnel, and sometimes consumers/patients. Research and respond to written and oral inquiries from internal and external customers. May be responsible for developing standard response documents, create unique responses, and revise/update existing documents in database. Receive, document and report spontaneous reports of possible adverse drug reactions. Search, evaluate and summarize the published medical and scientific literature. Work independently yet ensure strategic alignment of information with key internal stakeholders and experts as necessary. Participate in the creation of, and ensure adherence to departmental and corporate policies and quality standards. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent communication skills 

 

EDUCATION:

- RN, RPh or PharmD ONLY - NO MDs
