Master Scheduler / Planner
ThermoGenesis Corp is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Master Scheduler.Â
Â
Responsible for one-year rolling product Forecast and translating Forecast into Master Production Schedule (MPS). The MPS must balance supply/demand, take into account constraints and capabilities while also maximizing sales flexibility and minimizing inventory levels. This individual is responsible for setting the guidelines/limits for the individual CM schedules and resolving execution conflicts as they arise.  Key to success will be having strong management and negotiation skills as they will be working cross functionally and with CMs.

 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that the Master schedule supports the company forecast and sales order mix, volumes and timing requirements within a dynamic environment. Ensure that constraints to production are communicated to the executive staff and drive for resolution. Evaluate and present alternatives to the supply plan that are necessary to meet the forecast and actual sales order demands. The MPS must balance supply constraints, consumptions variability while minimizing excess inventory. Develop and update performance metrics necessary to manage supply/demand and the pursuit of optimal inventory levels. Analyze performance and propose alternatives for improvements. Work closely with Production, Purchasing and Distribution to coordinate and support resolution of operational constraints that may effect the successful execution of the Master Schedule and supply needed to support sales order demands. Supports the utilization and development ERP application, optimizes functionality and provides regular input for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS
1.     BA degree with minimum five years working experience

2.     APICS Certification preferred.
Â
3.     Prefer ISO experience.’
Â
4.     Prefer Medical manufacturing experience
Â
5.     Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel and Powerpoint
Â
6.     8 years professional experience in Planning and Master Scheduling environment. In addition, the experience may be substituted for education if directly related experience exists.

1.     Ability to effectively interface and negotiate with other organizations.
2.     Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
3.     Analysis of planning related functions.
4.     The ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
5.     Effective planning, scheduling .time management and prioritization skills.
6.     Leadership to provide direction and training for less experienced planning members.
7.     Ability to assimilate all relevant information prior to ensure appropriate decisions.
8.     Analysis and problems solving of a very complex nature.
