Ethicon Endo- Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Master Black Belt located in Cincinnati, OH. The purpose of Business Process Excellence (BPE) at EES is to drive continuous improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, with a primary focus on Demand Generation. BPE Belts accomplish this through their personal leadership and by applying Six Sigma, Design Excellence, and Lean methodologies to a wide variety of business issues. We believe that what sets BPE at EES apart from other Process Excellence/ Six Sigma organizations is the high value we place on the leadership capabilities of our BPE associates. BPE leaders at EES are expected to operate at a very high level and drive change in the organization through leading major projects. Because of this, leadership and influence skills, change management capabilities, flexibility, project management acumen, and strong communication skills are a requirement for success. A minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or related technical field is required. A minimum of 5 years business experience with a solid grounding in commercial processes or related experience is required. Demonstrated capability to lead change through effective interpersonal skills, communications skills, and leadership skills is required. Must be self-directed with the proven ability to rapidly adjust to new environments. A flexible learner who can acquire new technical skills and capabilities to meet changing business demands is required. Project management skills are required. J&&J Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent is required. Experience applying Lean Methodologies in a transactional environment is preferred. Experience across multiple functions, including Sales and Marketing is preferred. Additional experience with in Process Excellence such as Design Excellence or Change Management is preferred.
