Marketing Manager Work Location: Charlotte, NCShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Under general direction of the Senior Director, Strategic Accounts and Marketing this position manages the activities associated with Xcenda’s communications and publication efforts. This role interacts with associates from numerous internal departments. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, distributing, and analyzing all marketing initiatives. The senior communications and publications manager works independently and with a group of project managers to develop both new and recurring print and multimedia projects for the company. Creates appropriate and creative communications strategies for Xcenda, and determines the most effective communications strategies to meet their goals. Manages the entire production process from start to finish. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develops strategies, plans, organizes, implements and evaluates projects for a health care company seeking to assist its nationwide physician members in the improvement of patient care through the company's core competencies. Works independently and with a group of project managers to develop both new and recurring print and multimedia projects for the company. Participate in all Xcenda corporate marketing initiatives (e.g. market positioning analyses, messaging projects, etc). Monitor daily industry news clippings and design and execute targeted marketing outreach to companies of interest. Oversee design and production of Xcenda company brochures, signage, and promotional items. Oversee electronic and printed marketing communications to current and potential customers. Oversee on-going development and enhancement to http://www.xcenda.com/. Assist in the development of the Xcenda corporate marketing plan and take primary responsibility for its implementation. Coordinate Xcenda’s sponsorship of various industry meetings and oversee operations regarding our booth and other marketing efforts at these events. Assist in the development and maintenance of the Xcenda potential customer target database. Plan and coordinate externally & internally industry speaking opportunities for our consultants. Conduct market research with our clients and business partners as needed to gain insight into the value of our service offering. Performs related duties as assigned.  Experience and Education Requirements Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, communications, journalism, English or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education; Masters preferred. Normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. B.S. in Marketing preferred..
