We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician II/III (Temp). This person will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers who are dedicated to the development of novel drug delivery technologies with the potential to revolutionize the treatment of several common diseases.

Responsibilities:
• Manufacture supplies for pre-clinical and clinical studies
• Follow detailed manufacturing protocols to enable the timely cGMP-compliant production of quality products
• Work together with quality assurance to complete documentation associated with production of GLP and GMP supplies
• Support process development groups in refinement of manufacturing techniques and execution of experimental protocols
• Responsible for executing approved independent experiments
• Work closely with analytical testing department during submission and testing of experimental and manufacturing samples.
• Participate in the analysis and presentation of experimental results in team meetings
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment
• Maintain accurate and thorough lab notebooks
• Review sanitization records and monitor sanitization of the Pilot Plant
 
Skills required:
• Good interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction among all project teams
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong foundation in general laboratory bench skills and notebook keeping
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Flexibility to assist as needed with multiple team project goals
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in with minimal supervision
• Experience with use of standard Microsoft applications and data acquisition/analysis software is a plus
• Understanding of current Quality System Regulations (QSR) is desirable
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Commitment to safe practices while working in laboratory and manufacturing environments
• Previous experience executing protocols in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Education and experience:
• Minimum 5 years hands on experience in manufacturing medical devices, pharmaceutical products, or biotechnology products.
