Description
We have day shift openings for a Manufacturing Operator. The schedule is rotating and the shift for days is 7am - 7pm.
Attain a basic understanding of cGMPs and compliance. Use of SOPs, logbooks and Batch records. Equipment monitoring and maintenance. Perform basic laboratory tasks (pH, Conductivity, sampling etc.)as well as basic use of DCS. Demonstrate aseptic technique in the handling of materials, perform routine sanitation tasks to maintain facility standards. Complete initial training modules and cGMP training. Responsibilities will include the drafting of SOPs, and equipment and systems start-up/validation. Upon completion of validation phase, responsibilities will include the manufacture of therapeutic proteins under cGMP conditions. Shift work will be required. Other departmental duties as assigned.Required SkillsCandidates must have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Required Experience
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years manufacturing experience in the biotech industry, or 3+ years experience in manufacturing or other structured work environment.
