Visit our Corporate Career Center at www.medimedia.com/careers.aspx Renowned pharmaceutical marketing and communications business unit is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Manager responsible for managing print manufacturing for dimensional products, variable data materials, direct marketing programs, premiums and fulfillment materials and other projects to a high level of client satisfaction, including:' Communicating with internal and external clients, determining cost efficient specifications, developing job schedules, estimating costs for projects and maintaining budget controls.' Insuring final product quality and adherence to schedules, and reporting for cost management and billing purposes.' Provide hands-on manufacturing (including list processing, mailing and fulfillment when required) management of assigned projects including estimate preparation, scheduling coordination and adherence, proof checking, appropriateness of manufacturing process for project specifications, vendor performance, product delivery, mailing and fulfillment, quality assurance, cost control and financial analyses. ' Confer with and act as primary liaison with outside manufacturing suppliers and other suppliers as required. ' Communicate with Design/Page Assembly (if in-house) and Production/Editorial to maintain a timely production schedule. ' Be familiar with all products and vital operations functions; make recommendations/intervene as necessary to assure that systems, processes and performance are appropriate and achieve required product deliveries, product quality and cost levels; act fully and effectively as the manufacturing manager for Company products and divisions. ' Coordinate and fully cooperate with parent and related companies' activities and policies, including technical support, reporting and monitoring mechanisms, national contracts, ' Information exchange, and the sharing of best practices with colleagues and counterparts in other divisions. Candidates Should Meet the Following Requirements:' Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four (4) year college or university. Four plus (4+) years experience in one of the following: as a manufacturing/production manager or equivalent in a publishing environment; in printing operations management; as an account manager for a printing company. Custom publishing experience preferred. Additional work experience may be substituted for college on a 1-year for 1-year basis. BA/BS degree strongly preferred.' Knowledge of Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.' Must have excellent communication and organizational skills; be detail oriented; have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, and be committed to servicing clients.This position carries a competitive compensation plan, health benefits, and 401K.
