SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To analyze, design and support trimesterly call planning strategy in coordination with the AD Resource Allocation and Director SFE. To provide help in designing alignments based on call plan objectives for the Sales force. To manage all data inputs and the call planning application in partnership with our call planning vendor. To leverage all data and information and support systems to insure maximum value is attained from all Sales Operations information sources in the call planning process and management reporting. To support other priority projects in the Sales Operations department as the need exists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS REQUIRED FOR JOB
Work with the Associate Director, Resource Allocation to manage and maintain call planning processes.
Provide in depth analysis to the project team designing and implementing all Sepracor field force structures.
Act as the key support person for managing business rules, data inputs and answering questions regarding the call planning application.
Work with Resource Allocation analyst to support additional processes such as address updates, scrubbing and zip code adjustments.
Run reports for all call planning presentations and ad hoc requests for internal management to insure reporting and analytical needs are met.
Support the implementation of field sales force alignments.
Work with Sepracor's field management, Marketing, Organized Customer Group, Medical Liaison, Finance and Information Technologies groups to provide support and technical solutions to enhance Sales analysis and targeting.
Develop general knowledge of other major projects within Sales Operations including Incentive Compensation plan reporting and automation, Regional business analysis, Microstrategy reporting and ad hoc requests as required.
Support the AD, Resource Allocation to implement a new Call Planning software rollout that helps streamline our targeting processes.
Work with the Associate Director, Resource Allocation to proactively identify opportunities that give our company a competitive advantage.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Master's level education is a plus.
3-5 years of Sales Analysis, and Resource allocation experience preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience
Extensive knowledge of Excel and SAS. Experience with Access and Powerpoint.
Territory alignment coordination and design is necessary.
Knowledge of Alignment Reporting systems and Microstrategy Decision Support System is a plus.
Experience with other Sales reporting such as contact management, sample accountability, contracting, sales force automation, and comprehensive business reporting.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, team building, verbal, and written skills.
