We are Smith & Nephew.DescriptionThe manager for global Supply Chain Management business processes reports to the head of Director Global Business Process and leads a team of business analysts in supporting multi-GBU Information Technology systems and applications. Responsibilities include developing strategies to standardize, integrate and implement common information technology solutions in support of global business process initiatives. This person works closely with business partners across multiple business units to define business requirements and to deliver IS solutions that enable business process improvements. Since these solutions frequently span cross-functional areas and impact various Smith & Nephew information systems, this person must coordinate and collaborate on a daily basis with Global Information Services subordinates, peers, and superiors to achieve success.Required SkillsLeadership: The job holder must be seen as a credible business partner by peers and the ISLT. Strong leadership will be required to develop the new Global Information Services organization and to perform effectively as a global shared service.Management Skills: The job holder must be able to manage a global multi-cultural virtual team of experienced technical staff. His/her direct reports and staff will be responsible for delivering high quality, on budget, within schedule technology enabled global business solutions as a global shared service. He/she must have demonstrated technical matrix organization management experience. Communication & Influencing: The job holder must clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. SAP SCM including APO implementation and support experience is required.Business process knowledge in the Supply Chain Management functional area is required.Experience working in a matrix organization is highly desirable.Multiple full project life cycle IS implementations and go-lives highly desirable.One or more of the following professional certifications strongly desired: CPIM, CSCP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
