Reporting to the Director of Software Systems, Manager of Software Systems is responsible for implementing company software development plans using both internal resources and/or external collaborations and partnerships. Will be an inter-dependant partner on franchise wide software initiatives. Maintains active, regular communication and involvement with internal and external project team members and contract development partners. Will be responsible for Software systems development program management, planning and execution, Strategic to tactical planning activities. and technical assessment and due diligence activities. BS in technical field with 5 years experience or MS/MBA with 3 years of applicable industry experience is required. Experience in developing highly secure global desktop and web based applications. Experience with medical device regulations including ISO13485, FDA design control process, verification/validation activities. Experience fluency and understanding of interactive languages and technologies such as PHP, Perl, Java, C#, .Net, J2ME or equivalent technologies. Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQLServer and with both Open and Microsoft web platforms (Apache, etc…) Experience in outsourced software development in a global environment.
