Manager, Quality Control - Jhunan, Taiwan

Impax Laboratories (Taiwan), Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Impax Laboratories, Inc., is located in Jhunan Science Park (竹南科學園區), Taiwan.  Impax Laboratories, Inc. is a U.S. technology-based specialty pharmaceutical company applying its formulation expertise and drug delivery technology to the development of controlled-release and specialty generics and branded products.  The pilot plant and manufacturing facility currently under construction at Jhunan site will produce oral solid products primarily for the U.S. market.

 

For individuals interested in gaining international experience by working and living in Taiwan, we offer the opportunity to join the fast growing team at Impax Laboratories (Taiwan), Inc.  Candidates must be fluent in both English and Mandarin.Position requires re-location to Jhunan, Taiwan

Responsibilities:

·  Three functional areas:

o Raw Materials, Product Release and Stability

·  Releasing raw materials and finished products.

·  Ensuring FDA GMP compliance within the QC area of operations.

·  Evaluating stability trends and analytical data.

·  Trouble-shooting and problem solving of all raw materials and finished product testing.

·  Managing analytical database for inter-departmental use.

·  Support manufacturing and QA’s investigations.

·  Other tasks as assigned by the company.

 

Requirements:

·  Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

·  Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industrial experience. Or, an MS degree with 8 years of pharmaceutical industrial experience.

·  Must have strong computer skills such as, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.; database experience is a plus.
