Primary functions:-Lead engineering group in the development of new implant bearing technologies to include scientific support in definition of technologies, bearing process development and application, Regulatory testing and validation, and manufacturing support through launch.-Lead team across all business deliverables such as budget management, recruiting, personnel development, on time delivery of project commitments, and professional development.-Interface with all company functional groups to ensure all project touch points are well communicated and expectations are completely understood.-Seek out and work with third party sources to deliver new bearing technologies.-Negotiate third party contracts for new development efforts.-Drive the generation of technical papers and presentations for industry meeting and customer education.4 year engineering degree minimum.
