"Come be a part of our Success".We offer a team based environment with exceptional benefits which includes an employee friendly corporate culture, generous paid time off, pension plan, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, comprehensive health plan and career development opportunities.The Manager, Instrument manufacturing must be able to: Maintain and manage the budget for a manufacturing operation that is GMP compliant while meeting FDA & ISO requirements.Plan and direct the policies necessary to manufacture complex instruments per company requirements.Coordinate and organize 5S, Kaizen, autonomous teams and auto quality processes and assure the factory uses these principals on an ongoing basis.Structure the personnel for the most efficient organization utilizing cellular concepts. Maintain a high morale of the work force and address personnel issues.Ensure customer demand is met and the quality policy is implemented and maintained. Interface with other departments to make sure flow is consistent and backorders are avoided. Work closely with Engineering to solve problems, identifying root causes of failures, implement formalized corrective actions and maintain flow of production. Position Requirements:Education & Experience required for this position:Associates Degree required, BA/BS preferred with a min. of 7 years experience in a supervisory/leadership role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of production methods and related business activity is required.Must have experience, knowledge & the ability to develop, delegate and motivate direct reports within a team environment.Must have knowledge of Federal & State legalities of supervising people.Must understand regulatory requirements, FDA, OSHA, FSLA, ADA and EEOCKnowledge of company's quality system is a plus.Must be familiar with 5S, Auto quality, Kaizen and autonomous teams.Computer literateMust be able to prepare and maintain budgets and reports.Organizational skills, training skills, exceptional interpersonal communication skills verbal and written are a must..
