Manager, IT Infrastructure Work Location: Charlotte, NCShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Lash Group, a leading provider of healthcare reimbursement and patient assistance services, is looking for a Manager, IT Infrastructure in the Charlotte office. The Manager of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for the planning and supporting of the information technology environment. These activities will include the exploration of emerging information technology capabilities, monitoring of systems, maintaining the business continuity as it relates to systems, and participation in the proof of concept/pilot of new technologies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Plans and develops policies and procedures for carrying out systems programming and data communications initiatives. Works closely with subordinates to discuss progress of work, resolve issues and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met; ensures efficient departmental operations. Consults regularly with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues impacting computer processing, network operations, and database performance. Evaluates new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing applications; makes necessary recommendations. Ensures that all related documentation is current and accurate, and oversees the adherence to appropriate standards. Responsible for assigning priorities to projects, maintains project assignments, deliverables and status files. Performs various associate relations activities such as hiring, training and development, performance management and disciplinary actions. Interacts with industry groups, trade associations and consultants for the purpose of exchanging information and staying abreast of technological changes and advancements. Ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect the infrastructure from internal and external threats. Maintaining proper BCP practices in order to support the IT infrastructure. Negotiating, writing and reporting on internal and external service level agreements. Collaborating with the Manager of IT Architecture to assess the architectural impact of new technologies. Managing the budget and purchases for IT infrastructure related hardware and software. Communicating and escalating the appropriate level of alerts to IT and Operations. Creating and providing meaningful metrics to senior management. Managing IT associate assignments and monitoring results. Experience and Education Requirements Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Have the technical expertise to manage 200+ physical and virtual 2000/2003-based servers in a Data Center environment Have experience maintaining a Data Center environment which includes but is not limited to Cabling, UPS, Power, HVAC, and Generators. Have a minimal of 7 years experience in IT infrastructure management. Have a broad and in-depth experience in IT infrastructure, including networks, security, servers, storage, and applications infrastructure.
