Manager, Customer Marketing Research & Business Analytics - (Job Number: 0808009) DescriptionJohnson && Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Manager, Customer Marketing Research && Business Analytics, located in Piscataway, NJ. Johnson && Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson && Johnson franchises. The Manager, Customer Marketing Research && Business Analytics, will design and conduct protocols, and manage vendors to provide qualitative/quantitative, primary and secondary market research and scientific analyses. Responsible for preparing interpretive reports on those studies to support our field representatives and marketing teams in their efforts to develop and manage relationships with large accounts in our managed markets, acute care, and consumer health-related business segments. Channel entities covered include large health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, long-term care organizations, employers and their coalitions, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, distributors, and government entities. Negotiate and manage third-party vendor data contracts and budgets. Analyze data and present results to Account, Marketing, and Product teams and their Senior Management in the Johnson && Johnson Health Care Systems (JJHCS) organization and Johnson && Johnson Operating Companies. Develop and supply advanced analytics and tools that will drive best-in-class account marketing programs. Supervise and develop high-performing analysts. The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree, and preferably a master degree, one of which must be in an analytical, business or research-based discipline. A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in business analytics and market research is required. Strategic planning and/or portfolio optimization experience would be a plus. Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, managed care, hospital systems, and/or consumer healthcare business is preferred. Experience negotiating vendor contracts and maintaining budgets preferred. Experience with statistical analysis software is required; expertise in structural equation modeling is preferred. Experience in creating and conducting focus groups, direct interviews, and electronic surveys of study participants are required, as well as setting up the data received from those surveys and interviews. Knowledge of Process Excellence (such as Project Management, Quality Improvement, Six Sigma) is preferred. Familiarity with Health Care Compliance issues (Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams and have the ability to influence without authority, as well as the ability to work within an ambiguous environment. Must also have the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines at one time. Experience as an effective people manager is desirable. Experience delivering professional presentations to senior audiences is required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office Software (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) is required. Experience with relationship marketing is preferred. This position requires up to 20% domestic overnight travel.
