The Scientific business of Thomson Reuters provides information and knowledge to accelerate research, discovery and innovation. Our authoritative, accurate and timely information is essential for drug companies to discover new drugs and get them to market faster; researchers to find relevant papers and know what's newly published in their subject; and businesses to optimize their intellectual property and find competitive intelligence. We will create the research platforms and services of the future that will power our customers toward business and personal success. For the Institute of Regulatory Science: Serve as the Secretary for the Institute's Regulations Advisory Board; prepare RAB meeting agenda and minutes. Attend Institute Workshops. Prepare detailed summaries including, but not limited to, R&D Briefings, Workshop and Study Reports to disseminate Institute information to key audiences, including members, regulators, pharmaceutical company personnel, internal information users, and other external audiences as identified. Edit and review reports and other documents prepared by project team members Write, design and manage the process of developing Institute brochures, meeting notices, annual agendas, workshop programs, etc. Prepare content for non-print activities including CD and web-based initiatives. Support for related projects Prepare publications for peer-reviewed journals, white papers, and other external communications Contribute to the development and maintenance of novel research initiatives developed through the Institute or collaboratively with other business units. General Serve as primary contact for initial assessment and identification of communication strategy and tactical deployment methodology. Proactively identify potential issues and resolutions to promote customer and stakeholder satisfaction with communication programs. Manage the design and impact of the communication strategy and tactics relative to department goals and adjust as necessary to meet dynamic needs. Provide leadership to immediate work team in work product and employee development as well as the broader department to ensure consistency and accuracy of content Assure work efficiency, set and adhere to timelines and budgets. Perform other reasonable duties encountered during the ordinary conduct of work as directed by Supervisor. A minimum BS degree in the sciences (BS Pharmacy, PharmD, MS, PhD preferred). 3 or more years experience directly related to regulatory writing. Strong editorial experience as demonstrated by the ability to independently write, edit and review. Experience writing for print and electronic media. Strong project management and editorial coordination experience. An understanding and awareness of international pharmaceutical regulations and initiatives. Ability to interact with senior-level regulators and Sponsor management. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a geographically dispersed group.
