Visit us at www.bio-rad THIS POSITION INVOLVES ON-CALL STATUS/OFF-HOURS CALL INJOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: This senior level position will provide support, as assigned, at all company facilities (Seattle, Redmond, and Woodinville). Responsible for the cost effective operation, installation, calibration, and repairs in accordance with manufacturers requirements for all validated/non-validated plant services and equipment. Provides plant security and key control. Coordinates and directs providers of contracted services such as cleaning, security, and HVAC mechanical. May supervise the activities of 3-5 Maintenance Associates at the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager. Will participate in primary manufacturing process equipment validation activities, as well as those associated with the fixed building equipment. : High School diploma or equivalent. Industry Standard Certification helpful (CFM, AFE, CPM, etc.) Minimum of 6 years related experience. Knowledge of GMP/ISO facility and process equipment requirements for preventive and break-down maintenance applications in support of an FDA licensed manufacturing/R&D operation. Valid grade-4 (fireman) boiler operator's license or the ability to obtain one within six months. Ability to troubleshoot to component level general building and equipment electro-mechanical devices. Valid WA State drivers license. Proven ability to lift 60 lbs. Experience in the operation, preventive maintenance, and calibration of steam sterilization systems (Auto Claves).
