Sirtex is an innovative, growing global company using novel radioembolization technology which offers hope to patients with inoperable liver cancer who once had no hope.  Sirtex is conducting several clinical trials globally to assist in establishing the company's products as first-line "standard of care" in the management of patients with liver cancer.

What does the job involve? Develop account plans for key accounts and partners to generate strategic relationships that will result in sales within your territory Provide presentations and training to expand the knowledge of health care professionals Create and give selling presentations - including on site product demonstrations to physicians and other health care professionals Develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to your territory, particularly in managed health care Continuous education on latest information related to disease states and the changing business environment

What do I need to be successful in this role? Bachelors degree in Science or a related field Experience with strategic, consultative type sales Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical / medical device / biotechnology sales, preferably in an area of Oncology / Medical Imaging Ability to effectively deal with a variety of people ranging from patients to health care professionals Extensive experience in health care, particularly medical imaging, including ultrasound, CT, MR, NM and general radiology Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite Must reside in and be able to travel within the territory you are applying for
