MANAGER, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
Cambridge Major Labs, a dynamic, fast paced, and rapidly growing chemistry service provider to the Pharmaceutical Industry is seeking a Manager of Safety and Environment to plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and ensure compliance with appropriate safety and environmental policies and procedures as required through OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DNR, hazardous materials, State, Federal and other regulatory standards to provide a safe environment for all employees and visitors. Must be able to identify, analyze and be able to minimize exposure to personnel and property losses and encourage safe work procedures, as well as be familiar and able to execute PHA. Will develop and implement all phases of safety and environmental policies and procedures. Train personnel on all safety and emergency procedures. Conduct fire, safety and environmental audits. Ensure all safety equipment is available and functional. Will be responsible for proper hazardous waste control; disposal activities and investigation of workplace incidents. BS/BA degree in related major preferred. 5 years experience in similar work/environment required. Candidate must be energetic, fast-paced and persuasive.
