Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.  They develop products for a broad range of therapeutic areas including oncology and have an extremely attractive pipeline in multiple therapeutic areas.  They have experienced very strong and steady sales growth and are ranked as a top pharmaceutical company to work for.  This is an exciting full-time position as Sr.CRA working directly with team members in developing, implementing and managing oncology clinical trials.  Travel is light and will not exceed 20%.  Furthermore, you do not need to have oncology experience to be considered for this position.

Position Title: Senior Clinical Research Associate in Oncology

Location: Parsippany, NJ Metro Area.

Responsibilities, Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position:You will work directly with other team members in building, executing and managing oncology clinical trials.Design and develop a program of implemented studies that combine both investigator initiated trials as well as company sponsored trials.  This can include a range of cancer indications.Use your expertise in clinical research to support other functions and departments.Develop/draft and review clinical trial protocols/reports and summaries.Plan and implement investigator meetings and advisory boards.Propose/recommend monitoring, safety, eligibility, enrollment, and data consistency strategies.  Travel will be light and will range from 10% to no more than 20%. 

Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired:BS/BA in Sciences/Pharmacy/Nursing (Master’s is a plus).3-5 years plus experience in the clinical research arena.Working Knowledge of clinical trial design, monitoring skills, GCP and ICH guidelines/impact. The ability to work both independently and also collaboratively on projects.A strong understanding/familiarity of the drug developmental process.Oncology experience is preferred, but not required.Effective oral and written communication skills.Experience with electronic database capture (EDC) is a plus.Field monitoring experience is a plus.
