Lead Analyst (Global Laboratory Information Systems) Requisition Number: 22516BR Job Description: This position has the responsibility to participate in the Lab CoE and contribute on global cross functional teams of information system and business professionals to develop, implement and support an ongoing implementation of LIMS in support of Global Quality Laboratory Operations.Responsibilities: ·Possessing an in-depth knowledge of application testing of the Labware LIMS application, ability to also provide support to ongoing application configuration and development ·Leadership and management of testing resources in accordance to the varying levels needed to support the ongoing testing required. Includes working with Testing CoE to take advantage of testing shared services and processes.·Work closely with Application Development team, Global Quality and Global Technical Services Validation representatives to insure alignment with testing processes already in place·Exploration and early development of IT test plan, test cases, test summary reports for all development activities·Provide test development to ensure that testing adheres to applicable company policies, standards and procedures.·Early development and verification that the system and all changes can be adequately challenged in accordance with testing requirement and practices.· Provide technical support for all testing of development work · Work closely with Application Development group and users to insure testing will adequately challenge all functionality·Track issues, resolve bugs and problems within the system.QualificationsBachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.3-5 years of solid work experience in LIMS systems testing and development at a bio/pharmaceutical company. Experience with Computer Systems Validation, Systems Development Lifecycle, cGMP requirements Technical expertise in the following areas:· Labware LIMS configuration· QC Laboratory testing processes· Strong background in testing of the Labware application and the ability to lead such efforts.· Proven background in the use of automated testing tools is a plus· Experience in application testing using a risk based approach · Familiarity with Waters Empower and/or NuGenesis SDMS applications is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability. Should possess the following project management/business analyst skills:· Ability to translate business requirements into structured processes inline with the project's overall testing strategy. · Ability to develop test case scenarios. · Strong analytical skills along with understanding LIMS as they apply to standard Laboratory practices· Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff.
