Our customer is a global pharmaceutical firm engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of products worldwide.  Summary: Our customer is looking for a candidate that has large scale fermentation experience in a pilot plant. Must have great cell culture and aseptic technique.  Great opportunity to get experience in a large pharmaceutical company.  Description: • Works with Pilot Plant scale bioreactors with SIP/CIP operations. • Performs cell culture scale-up of products in shake flasks. • Capable of making media/buffers, which will be used in a GMP environment. • Works under the direct supervision of Senior Manufacturing Associate or area supervisor. • These positions will mainly be to aid in the large-scale fermentation pilot plant. • The pilot plant produces clinical trial supplies for Phase I, II and III. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a biological science with 1 - 2 years of experience in pharmaceuticals ideal, large-scale fermentation experience required. • The skills necessary will be aseptic technique, cell culture, large-scale fermentation, ability to work in a laboratory environment, knowledge of cGMP, and a high degree of attention to detail. • Good organizational, documentation, observation, and communication skills are needed. • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.For immediate consideration contact Colleen Tyler at colleen.tyler@yoh.com .
