Talecris Plasma Resources specializes in the collection of human plasma used in therapies that help people everywhere maintain and enhance their quality of life. Continued growth at our Salem, Oregon Plasma Donor Center has created immediate openings for LPNs & RNs to serve as Physician Substitutes.
Working with the Medical Director and the Center Manager, you will ensure donor suitability/eligibility, product integrity and the continued health of donors, while adhering to FDA regulations and standard operating procedures. Duties include selecting of plasmapheresis donors; reviewing data; providing medical care to donors; assisting management to ensure donor and employee safety; and related functions.
Position requires graduation/certification from a recognized educational program such as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Also requires current licensure or certification and current CPR Certification. 1-2 years experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred. Background working in a plasma center is a plus. Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.
