We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, full-time, experienced LC/GC Field Service Technician with experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry. A background in GMP environments is required as is familiarity with ISO quality systems.
Daily travel to/from customer sites is a main component of this position.
Responsibilities:Provide calibration, qualification and repair services on a broad range of analytical equipment such as Waters, Agilent and ShimadzuAbility to follow established quality procedures and customer requirementsProvide technical assistance to customers and support staffComply with quality system objectives
This is a full-time position, with a primary focus on providing support for analytical instrumentation. Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have demonstrated background in Liquid and Gas Chromatography instruments. Spectroscophy, Mass Spectrometry, Atomic Absorption and Particle Analyzer experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, strong troubleshooting experience and a hands-on approach to analytical instrumentation are needed. Ability to maintain accuracy and high energy in a fast-paced environment. PC skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) are mandatory. Ability to learn Access and other proprietary software will be required. Demonstrated experience working in an ISO quality system.
Education:
Science or Chemistry Degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience.
Must have and maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be able to pass a drug/background check. No relocation for this position.
