Reporting directly to the Region Business Director, the Key Customer Specialist is accountable to achieve sales quota by delivering market share and market share growth as well as other key metrics in the assigned territory by selling to top decile, high potential, or highest value customers. The individual executes the company's brand strategy and tactics within the assigned key customer segment, which may include, but is not limited to, large physician medical group practices, clinics and others within an overall assigned geography. The individual approaches each customer from a total account management perspective, by collaborating with business partners across all J&&J departments including, but not limited to marketing, managed markets team members, field sales team members, and business counterparts, as necessary to coordinate account strategies and put forth a cohesive sales effort. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Excellent written and oral communication skills, a Bachelor's Degree, valid driver's license in one of the 50 states and clean driving record, 4 or more years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry, or large account management related experience. Documented track record of very strong sales results. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
