Job Description Internal Sales Specialist We are seeking someone to join our team and be responsible for profitable growth in sales of Remel products and for servicing and promoting all existing and new Remel products to hospitals and their associated clinics, medical schools, and other applicable clinical customers within the designated territory, by telephone. This position also provide sales support to clinical sales teams as assigned by the National Sales Manager. Position Highlights: - Introduce new products and promotions to assigned customers or territory and actively seek to secure an order. Convert accounts to Remel products where competitive products are being used. - Maintain existing business and actively seek to grow the Remel business profitably within territory by developing strong relationships with the accounts assigned by the National Sales Manager.- Seek out, prioritize and pursue all sales opportunities through appropriate distributor channels. Develop and maintain professional sales relationships with applicable distributor representatives in order to maximize profitable sales growth opportunities within your assigned territory. - Accept ownership and accountability for sales growth, customer service, customer support, and contracting within assigned territory, utilizing all sales resources provided by Remel and in accordance with Remel policies and procedures.- While selling, introducing or promoting new or established products, make recommendations to management on how to modify a product, sales strategy or promotional policy in order to increase sales. Skills, Education and Experience Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree or related field. Biology or Microbiology concentration preferred. - Prior work experience in the area of laboratory science or medical technology. Knowledge of microbiology or diagnostic testing preferred. - Must possess the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.- Must demonstrate business maturity and take a strong initiative in both skill and role development. - Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and MS Word.- Prefer a desire for increased responsibility and possible promotion/relocation into outside sales Education: BachelorsJob Level: Entry Level
