Inside Sales - Consumer Products (B2B)

Successful over the counter drug (OTC) and personal products company seeks an energetic and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to help expand business into new trade channels.

 

Earn recurring commissions by a) helping company to establish contracts with new distributors, and b) selling products directly to specialty re-sellers and doctors’ offices.

 

Responsibilities

  Prospect for new leads using Internet, in house databases, and trade resources Make cold calls to prospective customers via phone; qualify leads and close sales Establish relationships with distributors, identify decision makers, and set appointments Sell products directly to podiatrists’ offices via phone and at trade shows Achieve daily and weekly goals: phone calls, contacts, lead generation, and sales. Perform duties necessary to promote products and close sales and collect payments (e.g., set-up of new item forms, invoice follow-up)

 

The candidate must possess excellent phone skills, a positive attitude and lots of energy. The ability to thrive in a small company team environment and the ability to learn quickly is essential.

 

Qualifications Has drive and motivation to sell – desire to boost company and personal earnings. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong Excel, Word and Internet skills. Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines. Demonstrates professionalism at all times. Ability to exercise judgment and critical thinking. BA or BS degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Base + Commission + Accelerating Bonus. No cap on commissions.
