Agilent Technologies has an exciting opportunity to lead the company wide Security Awareness & Education program and manage security projects. You will be a member of the Information Security & Risk Management team responsible for setting the information security strategy and driving overall governance for Agilent Technologies. This includes securing Agilent's Information Assets and IT Infrastructure against compromise using effective risk mitigation practices and delivering comprehensive information security services that enable Agilent to compete, grow and thrive.

Major responsibilities of the position include:
• Lead Agilent's Information Security Awareness
& Education program
• Manage security projects through the project
lifecycle to delivery
• Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance
(DS5 Ensure System Security process management)
• Consulting with the Agilent Businesses and IT
• Provide operational support such as contract
renewals and planning activities.

Travel is not necessarily required but may be initiated as necessary. Maintaining a flexible work schedule while working with other geographies is required.
About you 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and five (5+) years of demonstrated experience, or equivalent IT work experience (9+ years).
• Proven skills in program and project
management with a track record of delivery
• Must possess strong planning, coordination,
organization and facilitation skills, plus
have a process-oriented focus
• Must be able to effectively interact with
Agilent IT service lines, Agilent businesses,
3rd party service providers, and senior
management
• Must be able to work independently to drive
and lead efforts to meet objectives
• Excellent consulting and communication skills
• IT and Information Security Experience.

Desired Qualifications:
• Passion for delivering projects and security
awareness program
• Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, GIAC, etc.)
• Understanding of COBIT 4.0, ISO 17799/27001
standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Handle multiple projects and assignments
• Deal with ambiguity, be flexible.
