Informatica Developer

The ETL Developer role requires 3 plus years experience working in the development of ETL processes for data warehousing technical components (e.g. Data Model, ETL, Reporting), infrastructure (e.g. hardware and software) and their integration. With an emphasis on the design and development of ETL processes that are necessary to transfer data from each source system to the data warehouse, the candidate should have solid experience using Informatica for at least 3 years (7.x, 8.x required). The ideal candidate will have participated on more than one successful data warehouse projects and should have a thorough understanding of ETL tools, database engines, data design, reporting and analytics tools, and technical infrastructure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as the candidate will work very closely with the QA team, Internal and External Consulting teams and Business Analysts. Software Development Life Cycle knowledge and quality development are essential. The candidate must work well in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to create and manage work plans, timelines and accommodate multiple priorities is required. Good understanding of business processes in Sales and Marketing is desired. Biotech or Health Care work experience is desired.
Skills required:
- The candidate should have solid experience using Informatica for at least 3 years (7.x, 8.x required).
. Strong background in relational databases, including Oracle. Some experience with reporting tools, such as Business Objects Xi, would be helpful.
. Experience with all aspects of software development, including defining requirements, system design, and quality assurance testing, within a defined SDLC methodology.
Excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with a demonstrated focus on customer service. Strong ability to interact and communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
EDUCATION >> . BS/BA minimum in Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or Business is preferred.
