Our customer is dedicated to developing new, safe medicines to prevent and treat the world's most serious diseases.Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large pharmaceutical company in the department for the discovery and development of novel protein therapeutics. Candidate must have experience with immunoassays including ELISA. This contract will run until the end of 2010. Job Description: • The candidate will be primarily responsible for the purification of IgG from antiserum, develop and validate immunoassays including ELISA according to ICH guidelines.  • Responsibilities also include planning of the purification experiment, reagent acquisition, sample documentation, sample analysis and data report.Qualifications: • The position requires a BS/MS with 2+ yrs experience in laboratory research in academia or industry.  • The successful candidate will have training in general biology, preferentially in biochemistry or immunology.  • The position also requires that the individual is highly motivated with strong communication skills and is flexible in learning new skills.For immediate consideration please contact April Abrego at april.abrego@yoh.com .
