We're building an IT organization to deliver just that, How can you help?Job MissionThis role will be part of the global Compliance & Governance team of NIBR IT. Key responsibilities will include supporting the global IT teams in providing high quality and professional IT solutions for the Novartis Research organization. This role will also impart guidance and support in all areas of quality management, compliance to the global Novartis global IT control framework and information & IT security. The main duties of this position are:- Providing guidance and support in establishing process documentation in adherence to our Quality system and helping in process improvement and simplification wherever possible.- Assure compliance to Novartis control framework finding ways keeping the flexibility of our IT organization.- Create and maintain working procedures and guidelines for IT-service operations. - Supporting the Infrastructure and IS teams in Information Security related issues and performing risk assessments in collaboration with our ISEC and QA organization.- As part of the global Compliance & Governance team maintain and further develop our Quality framework for improvement, simplification and ease of use.- Support and drive the implementation of an IT Risk management framework.- Act as the Disaster recovery and business continuation coordinator to assure DR testing, evaluating test results and maintenance of documentation.- Driving projects related to quality management and compliance like e.g.: further improvement of disaster recovery planning, Implementation of an IT Risk management framework and rolling out new version of the Novartis control framework.About NITASWe are in a new era of IT for scientific research. A minimum of 5 years job proficiency in large IT environment with at least 2 years experience of working as Quality or Project manager- preferred in pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies. Sound knowledge in a process framework like ITIL, ISO standards, a control framework like COBIT or equivalent are required. Good project management skills and experience in project management methodologies. Experience in implementation and/or maintenance of quality standards.Knowledge and experience about Information and/or IT security are appreciated. Excellent skills in working conceptual and process oriented.
