IT Project Manger

Consultant will be responsible for the following:
* Develops detailed project plans and work schedules* Allocates tasks to project team and monitors quality and timeliness of required deliverables* Tracks key project milestones and adjusts plans and/or resources to meet project requirements* Ensures appropriate priorities assigned to critical project tasks * Communicates project status and issues for resolution to appropriate steering and oversight committees* Manages project direction to ensure that Senior Management Executives expectations are fulfilled* Manages scope through tight control procedures* Monitors project costs to ensure budget adherence* Performs quality reviews and escalates project issues as appropriate* Works closely with the QA teams to ensure that compliance requirements are met* Coordinates with Project Managers responsible for related initiatives to manage cross-project dependencies* Ensures timely issue resolution and appropriate issue escalation* Ensures resolution process is in place for aps, issues, and risks* Ensures alignment of IT direction and business objectives in the design and configuration* Documents lessons learned following project completion and shares results with management* Responsible for team leadership and team building
Skills required:
* 10+ years experience managing projects across a broad range of IT solution areas.
* 5 years Knowledge and experience with implementing Business Intelligence Platform involving SAP/BW.
* 3 years Experience with the following reporting tools: SAP BW, Crystal, Business Objects, COGNOS.
* Experience in managing IT Infrastructure projects.
* The ability to manage 1-3 large projects of diverse scope across functional areas or multiple systems. * Excellent customer relationship and customer service skills.
* The ability to understand a customers business and how IT contributes to the delivery of that product or service.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship building skills. * Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Excellent project management skills.
Education:
 * BS or BA in Computer Science or Business Administration or relevant discipline required. * An advanced degree in business (IT focus) is preferred. * PMP Certification a plus.
